Zambian football legends Kalusha Bwalya and Rainford Kalaba are set to grace the prestigious CAF Awards 2023, joining an illustrious gathering of high-profile individuals.

CAF has unveiled a lineup of distinguished guests from various fields, coming together to celebrate the outstanding achievements in African football.
Kalusha Bwalya, the former FAZ President, earned his respect globally for his contributions to the Chipolopolo Boys.
In 1988, he was crowned African Footballer of the Year by France Football and secured a 12th-place finish in the 1996 FIFA World Player of the Year, a remarkable feat for a player based outside of Europe.

Rainford Kalaba, a key player in the 2012 AFCON-winning squad, brings his own impressive credentials to the event. His achievements include a CAF Champions League title, two CAF Super Cup titles, and two CAF Confederation Cup titles, along with numerous domestic honors in DR Congo.

The star-studded guest list for the CAF Awards 2023 also includes football legends such as Samuel Eto’o, Abedi Pele, El Hadji Diouf, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jay-Jay Okocha, and others from various sporting disciplines.
