Kundananji Scores as Madrid CFF Secures Comeback Victory

Racheal Kundananji, the forward for Copper Queens, extended her scoring streak by finding the net for the fourth consecutive game, contributing to her team’s hard-fought 4-3 victory over Valencia.

In a thrilling Spanish Liga F encounter, Kundananji secured Madrid CFF’s opening goal as they rallied from a two-goal deficit to triumph 4-3 against Valencia at the Estadio Antonio Puchades. Initially, goals from Ivonne Chacon and Pauletta had placed Valencia in the lead.

Kundananji pulled one back in the 57th minute, but Chacon swiftly restored Valencia’s two-goal advantage with a brace. Karen Araya narrowed the lead with a close-range finish, setting the stage for Aldan Cometti to level the score in the 80th minute. In the dying moments of the game, Ana Rosa Gonzalez sealed the victory for Madrid CFF with a penalty.

With this goal, Kundananji has now scored seven times in the league this season, trailing behind FC Barcelona’s Caroline Hansen, who leads the charts with eight goals.
Kundananji’s recent performances include five goals in her last four games for both her club and country, accompanied by two assists.

The victory places Madrid CFF just one point behind second-placed Atletico Madrid and nine points adrift from the league leaders, FC Barcelona.
