ZESCO Holds A Party After Ending The Season In Style & Held An Award Ceremony
Reports say the Super League Champions ZESCO United held An After Party For their End Season Celebrations Including Award Ceremony
Several deserving players were awarded for their outstanding performances during the just ended season.
Adrian Chama took the top accolade as he was crowned club Player of the Year after guiding the electricity men to their ninth league title during an awards gala at Protea Hotel in Ndola.
Tiya Ziko’s midfielder and skipper John Chin’gandu was also named as the (Prayers) Player of the Year award while the most consistent player went to Kenyan goalkeeper Ian Otieno.
Jesse Were who scored four goals earlier in the day as ZESCO United nailed Buildcon with a 7-2 win, bagged the top scorer’s award with 10 goals while the Zimbabwean midfielder Thabani Kamusoko scooped the most disciplined player award.
2019 U-20 COSAFA winner Chanda Mukuka edged Samuel Sikaonga and Enock Sakala Jnr to the Young player of the year accolade.
Zambia’s midfielder Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba who has been impressive for the Champions was surprisingly not on the list of award receivers.
All awards were accompanied by a K10, 000 token of appreciation.
