Manchester United Has Sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United board have decided to relieve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from his managerial role at the club.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Sunday, November 21st, 2021.

The decision to sack Ole was triggered by the disgraceful performance in the game against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday, November 2021.

According to the Italian, the sack of Ole has been approved by the Glazer family and Carrick and Fletcher will act as caretaker managers pending when a new manager is announced.

There have been reports that the Norwegian’s days at the club was numbered following the 5-0 humiliation by Liverpool at Old Trafford. The team has picked four wins in 13 games this season which is the worse start in six years.

The 48-year-old was appointed in the summer of 2018 after the club sacked Jose Mourinho. Manchester United have failed to win a trophy under the Norwegian, the best the Red Devils have gotten is a Champions League place since he took over.

The Glazer family has ordered the club officials to find a way to convince Zinedine Zidane to take over the club mid-season.
