Zesco Considers Kambole Return
The manager to Zesco United Numba is considering options of bringing back the former star back to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium before the transfer closes.
Lazarus ‘Lazi’ Kambole has struggled with form from the time he switched from Zesco United in 2019 to join Kaiser Chief’s.
The 27 year old former Zesco hot spot has only scored 1 goal In 40 appearance in all competition.
Zesco United Coach told Kickoff that luck of game time has dwindled the form of a player and he believes they can help Kambole rediscover his form.
“If it can be possible, we have a chat with his employers that side so that maybe we can bring him so that we can resuscitate his career,” Numba said. “I think him not having game time that side is not good for a player of his calibre.
“I think he needs to be playing week in week out so that he can be at his best that as it is now he is not having too much game time which has affected his performance that is why his performance seems to have gone down.
“But I think we’ll try and see if it can be possible to bring him back here so that we can help him resuscitate his career.
“Kambole in June rubished rumours of him going out of the club.
The players responded in June “Am not going anywhere those are just rumours, am ready to play in any position as long am enjoying my Football” Kambole was introduced with seconds to full time in addition time in Caf Champions League final where his side lost 3:0 to the Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
