World Cup Qualifiers: Zambia Will Host Tunisia At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium

The Football Association of Zambia has confirmed that Zambia vs Tunisia Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier will take place at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium as earlier reported by the ZambianSports.

Following guidance from FIFA on venues for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) announced that Levy Mwanawasa Stadium will host the match between Zambia and Tunisia which will be held on September 7, 2021.

FIFA also confirmed the kickoff time as 15:00 CAT hours for the clash against the Carthage Eagles at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Head of Qualifiers and International Matches at FIFA Gordon Savic disclosed that timings and venues were a prerogative of FIFA to decide.

Group winners will join nine other teams in the final round which will be played on two-legged ties to decide Africa’s five representatives at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
