Red Arrows continue to lead the MTN Super League after a close victory. Nkana’s loss has dropped them into the relegation zone, and Ernest Koffi began his tenure at Trident FC with a defeat. Week 25 of the MTN Super League featured thrilling matches across the country.

Red Arrows maintained their three-point lead with a 1-0 win over Nkwazi at Edwin Imboela Stadium. Paul Katema’s single goal secured Chisi Mbewe’s side their third consecutive victory.

In Choma, Green Buffaloes defeated Green Eagles 3-1 in a military clash overshadowed by the referee’s late arrival. Goals from John Kosamu and George Ngoma, along with an own goal from Teddy Simfukwe, secured the crucial win for Green Buffaloes, with Aaron Musore scoring Eagles’ consolation goal.

A lone goal from Adam Zikiru ended Nkana’s unbeaten streak and handed NAPSA Stars a win. Chipo Sondashi’s brace led FC MUZA to a 2-0 victory over Mufulira Wanderers, who have now gone four games without a win.

Ernest Koffi’s debut as head coach at Trident FC ended in defeat as Forest Rangers came from behind to win 3-1. Diego Apanane, Quadri Kola, and Obed Masunbuko scored for Forest Rangers.

Despite Jimmy Mukeya’s superb goal, ZESCO United defeated Kansanshi Dynamos 2-1, with goals from John Ching’andu and Solomon Sakala. Power Dynamos and Kabwe Warriors played to a goalless draw.
