Romelu Lukaku made an instant impact after coming on as a second-half substitute, helping Belgium rescue a 1-1 draw against Egypt in their FIFA World Cup Group G clash in Seattle.

Belgium went into the break trailing after Emam Ashour fired Egypt ahead in the 20th minute following a clever pass from Mohamed Salah.

However, Lukaku changed the game moments after his introduction, forcing an own goal from Mohamed Hany to bring Belgium level.

Earlier in the match, Kevin De Bruyne struck the post with a free-kick, while Thibaut Courtois produced a brilliant point-blank save to deny Salah.
