Zambia Copper Queens Beats Uganda in final Group C Match and Will Face Tanzania In Semi-Final

The Queens progress to the Semi finals having won all their group games and kept a clean sheet, with nine goals registered at the ongoing 2021 COSAFA Women’s championship.

Grace Chanda, who won the player of the match award,  after scoring the only goal in the 37th minute as Zambia claimed top spot in group C’ on nine points.

The Victory over Uganda at the Nelson Mandela bay Stadium this afternoon has adjust Zambia to face group B winners Tanzania in the first semi final game to be played on Thursday at 12:30 hours.

The second Semifinal clash will be between Group A’ Toppers and title holders South Africa who will battle fellow group mates Malawi who progressed as best losers at 15:30 Hours.

And Copper Queens Assistant Coach Florence Mwila said finishing top of Group C will motivate the players as they face Tanzania.
