Kabwe Warriors Triumph, Mutondo Stars Shock ZANACO

Kabwe Warriors broke their five-game winless streak on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Nkana at Chilata, secured by Ocean Mushure’s first-half penalty.
This triumph propels Kabwe Warriors to seventh place, keeping them in the running for a spot in the ABSA Cup as they approach the decisive Week 17.

For the 13-time MTN Super League Champions, Nkana, the loss means they remain second from the bottom with only 13 points from 16 matches.

In another match, ZANACO suffered their second consecutive defeat, falling 1-0 away to Mutondo Stars. Osmond Chita’s second-half goal secured the much-needed three points for EverGreen.
Mutondo Stars have now triumphed in their last three games and are undefeated in four matches, allowing them to climb to eighth place on the league table with 24 points, surpassing ZANACO.
