Red Arrows Soar to Victory, Buffaloes and ZISD Secure Impressive Wins in WSL

Red Arrows Women’s Football Club bounced back to the winning column, securing a 2-1 victory against Luyando Foundation Girls.
Susan Banda and Gloria Stacey Mwewa found the net, delivering a well-deserved win under the guidance of coach Daniel Sibanda. Juliet Mulubwa scored the lone goal for Luyando Foundation Girls.

In another matchup on the same turf, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club extended their unbeaten streak with a commanding 5-0 triumph over Zanaco Ladies.
Former Copper Queens captain Kabange Mupopo netted a brace, while Lushomo Mweemba, Esther Banda, and Maylan Mulenga each contributed a goal.

Over at Independence Stadium, ZISD marked their return to success by overpowering Kamfisa Police Blue Eagles 5-0. Mercy Vitumbiko and Elizabeth Mwale both scored twice, with Janet Kazhila adding the fifth goal.

The Sunday fixtures also witnessed Nkwazi Queens clinching a narrow 1-0 victory against National Assembly, courtesy of Suwilanji Chibesa’s decisive goal.
