Zambia Super League To Kick Off On The 21st of August

The 2021/2022 Zambia Football season will kick off on the 21st of August 2021 with the traditional curtain-raiser, The Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity shield taking center stage.

Super League winners Zesco United with square off with ABSA Cup champions Lusaka Dynamos at a venue yet to be announced.

The Football Association of Zambia confirmed the development in the weekly President’s corner piece posted on the Association’s official website as monitored by the ZambianSports.

President, Andrew Kamanga has advised the teams and the fans to get vaccinated ahead of the kick-off of the new season.

The League proper is expected to start on the weekend of 11/12 September. The fixtures are however not yet out and are expected to be out any time soon.
