Zambia Beat Kenya On Penalties To Set Up Final Showdown With Zimbabwe In 4 Nations Tournament

It ended in a stalemate as Zambia and Kenya could not be separated in regulation time, forcing the match to go straight into penalties.

The two sides battled throughout the contest but neither could find the breakthrough, leaving the semifinal to be decided from the spot. Zambia held their nerve in the shootout to secure a place in the tournament final.

Zambia went on to beat Kenya 4-1 on post-match penalties to book a final date with Zimbabwe on Tuesday. The Copper Queens converted all their spot kicks through Irene Lungu, Racheal Kundananji, Saliyah Mwanza and Ochumba Oseke.

Zambia will now face Zimbabwe in the final on Tuesday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, with kickoff set for 18h00.
