Four Nations Tournament Gathers Momentum As Lesotho And Kenya Arrive In Zambia
The Zambia Four Nations Tournament is gathering momentum with Lesotho and Kenya becoming the first visiting teams to arrive in the country ahead of the competition in Ndola.
Lesotho’s Mehalalitoe touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport on Thursday afternoon and were welcomed by FAZ Head of Competitions Loreen Mulomba.
A few hours later, Kenya’s Harambee Starlets also arrived, receiving a warm welcome from FAZ Deputy General Secretary Iva Lengwe and FAZ Head of Communications and Media Nkweto Tembwe.
The Four Nations Tournament, which also features hosts Zambia and Zimbabwe, kicks off this weekend at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Zambia and Kenya will use the tournament as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to begin next month in Morocco.

Zambia will face Kenya on Saturday, June 6, as the teams fine-tune their squads ahead of the continental showpiece.
