Today, we launched the hosting of the FC Barcelona legends tour to the Republic of Zambia which will culminate in an exhibition match with the Zambia Football legends on 27th May 2023 at the National Heroes stadium in Lusaka.
This event will be hosted to market Zambia as a destination for tourism and economic investment since Zambia is “now part of the Champions League” in all facets of Economic and Social Development.
The Economic benefits that this exhibition match will bring to our Country cannot be overlooked.
The legends match is expected to be watched by a global audience as the television rights for the event will be sold to different Markets.
Several former Barcelona players have confirmed participation led by World Cup winner Ronaldo de Assis Moreira commonly known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Guillermo Amor, Juliano Belleti, Francesco Coco, Frank de Boer, Dani Garcia Lara, Frederick Dehu, Jose Edmilson, Santo Ezquerro, Gabrio, Giovanni, Guily, Goicoetxea, Jari Litmanen, Luis Garcia, Gaizka Mendieta, Okunowo, Roger Garcia, Sergi Barjuan, and Miquel Soler.
