Retrieval Time, As Zambia Play The Second Match With Eswatini

Chipolopolo to face Eswatini today at Wolson Stadium at 15:00 hours. After the loss in the first match of Cosafa2021 cup, Zambia will be looking forward to win today’s match.

Defending champions Zambia will have to win today to get their campaign back on track with the team focused on the task ahead.

In the aftermath of the 2-1 loss to Lesotho, coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and his technical bench have been shaking up the squad to raise the bar given the weight of expectations among the Chipolopolo faithful.

Skipper Kennedy Mweene is expected to bring his commanding presence to the game with the defence partnership of Kabaso Chongo and Adrian Chama, Benedict Chepeshi and Roderick Kabwe likely to be tinkered.

It is upfront where some drastic changes may be implemented after a blunt showing in the first match. Brian Mwila and Moses Phiri could be favoured to lead the lines with Kelvin Kampamba, Augustine Mulenga and Juston Shonga providing creative options. More options abound with Felix Bulaya, Spencer Sautu and Gamphani Lungu possible inclusions.

Eswatini will be without skipper Felix Badenhorst who was red carded in their 1-0 loss to South Africa.

In the absence of Badehorst, Eswatini will look to the likes of Sabelo Ndinisa, Fanelo Mamba and Justice Figareido to cause damage to Zambia.

South Africa lead Group A on six points after wins over Botswana and Eswatini.

Kickoff is at 15:00 hours (CAT) with the match live on Cosafa TV and SuperSport.

The 2021 Cosafa Cup has two groups of five teams with the top two teams qualifying to the semifinals.
