Nchanga Rangers Extend George Lwandamina’s Contract Ahead Of New Season

Nchanga Rangers Football Club is pleased to announce that Head Coach George Lwandamina has extended his stay at the club for a further two seasons.

Club President, Eng. David Mukumbuta Mukelabai, expressed his delight at Coach Lwandamina’ s continued stay at Nchanga Rangers and pledged the club’s full support to the head coach and the entire technical bench.

We are delighted that Coach George Lwandamina has committed his future to Nchanga Rangers Football Club. His leadership and experience have been instrumental to the progress of the team, and we remain fully committed to supporting him and the technical bench as we prepare for the 2026 Transitional League,” said Eng. Mukelabai.

Speaking on the development, Konkola Copper Mines Plc (KCM) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager, Brian Siatubi, also welcomed the coach’s decision to remain at the club.

“As KCM, we are delighted that he has extended his stay at Nchanga Rangers. We are confident that the community and all stakeholders will welcome this decision. As KCM, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the club,” said Mr. Siatubi.

Mr. Siatubi further urged all stakeholders to continue supporting the team as preparations for the upcoming season continue.

Head Coach George Lwandamina assured management and supporters that the technical bench would build on the successes of the previous season as the club heads into the 2026 Transitional League.

The club has since wished the coach and the technical team the very best in the upcoming season.
