Leicester City Confirm Departure Of Patson Daka And 10 Others
Leicester City F.C. have confirmed a major squad reshuffle ahead of the new season, with several senior players set to part ways with the club once their contracts expire this summer.

Leading the departures is long-serving captain Ricardo Pereira, who closes the chapter on an unforgettable eight-year spell at the King Power Stadium. Since arriving from FC Porto in 2018, the Portuguese defender became one of Leicester’s most reliable figures, helping the club lift the 2021 Emirates FA Cup, the Community Shield, and later the 2023/24 Championship title. His dramatic late winner against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Conference League remains one of the standout moments of his career in blue.
Also moving on are forwards Patson Daka and Jordan Ayew, defender Jamaal Lascelles and Academy product Wanya Marçal, all of whom will exit following the conclusion of their deals. Veteran goalkeeper Asmir Begović could still remain at the club, with negotiations over a possible extension currently ongoing.
Meanwhile, Leicester’s temporary signings Jordan James, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Aribo, Dujuan Richards and Divine Mukasa are all expected to return to their parent clubs after their loan spells officially come to an end.

Despite the exits, the Foxes continue to invest in youth development after extending the contracts of five Academy players, while several other youngsters have been offered fresh deals as the club begins shaping its future squad.
