Kundananji Joins Copper Queens Ahead of Ghana Showdown

Bay FC’s latest signing, Racheal Kundananji, has linked up with the Copper Queens squad in Lusaka. She joins the team ahead of their upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Qualifiers match against Ghana. The game is set to take place at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Kundananji made headlines as the first African player, male or female, to break a world transfer record. The Zambian striker moved to Bay FC from Spanish club Madrid CFF in a groundbreaking deal.

Fans are eager to see Kundananji team up once again with Barbra Banda, forming a formidable duo on the field. Their synergy will be crucial as they face off against Ghana’s Black Queens on February 28. The return leg is scheduled to be held in Ghana five days later.
