FAZ Lusaka Province Initiates Registration for U14 and U16 Football Clubs
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Lusaka Province has announced the commencement of the registration process for football clubs participating in the U14 and U16 categories. This initiative aims to foster youth development and engagement in football within the province.
Starting from November 29, 2023, until December 5, 2023, football academies interested in joining the youth leagues for both boys and girls can submit their applications. The provincial technical office has outlined these dates for receiving applications, with the youth leagues scheduled to open on December 10, 2023.
This move encourages the active participation of clubs, especially those not affiliated with any existing league or with specific age categories, to join the provincial youth leagues facilitated by FAZ-Lusaka Region. The initiative seeks to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills and contribute to the growth of football at the grassroots level.
Football clubs interested in registering for the U14 and U16 categories are urged to contact the secretariat office for further guidance and submission of their applications. FAZ Lusaka Province aims to create a nurturing environment for young football enthusiasts, fostering a culture of sportsmanship and skill development.
