DR Congo Duo Brigitte Ngamita and Rebecca Kianga Join Zanaco Ladies
Zanaco Ladies have strengthened their squad with the signing of Democratic Republic of Congo duo Brigitte Ngamita Zita and Rebecca Kianga Mulanga.
Both players have signed two-year deals with the club, with goalkeeper Ngamita joining on a two-year loan agreement from Ituri FC, while striker Kianga has signed a two-year permanent contract from Les Aigles du Congo.
The pair form part of Zanaco Ladies’ transitional season and are likely to feature in the squad for today’s fixture against Red Arrows.
Ngamita joins Zanaco after previously playing for TP Mazembe, where she won the African Women’s Football Champions League in 2023, as well as the UNIFAC Cup in 2022 and 2024.
Her career also includes winning the provincial cup without conceding a goal. At international level, she has represented DR Congo, captaining the Under-20 national team in 2023 and serving as goalkeeper for the senior national team that qualified for the 2024 AFCON.

Kianga joins on a permanent two-year deal from Les Aigles du Congo in the Congolese Super League. She finished as the league’s top scorer last season with 18 goals and has represented DR Congo at Under-17 and Under-20 level, in addition to the senior national team.
“I am happy to join Zanaco Ladies and I want to be part of their success,” Kianga said.
The arrival of Ngamita and Kianga adds further experience and quality to the Zanaco Ladies squad ahead of the upcoming season.
