Choma Warriors Academy Unveils New Players for the 2023/2024 Season

Choma, Zambia – Choma Warriors Women’s team is gearing up for the upcoming 2023/2024 season by adding fresh talent to their roster. The Pride of Choma Warriors Women’s team has officially introduced new players, all of whom have been recruited from various professional clubs within the country.

The new additions to the Choma Warriors Academy Women’s football team include:

Natasha Nkaka from Musport Queens (Choma)
Abigail Munkombwe from Musport Queens (Choma)
Precious Siambeya from Musport Queens (Choma)
Milambo Mwiinde from Cabinet Queens (Choma)
Prodia Mwiinga from Red Jetters Queens (Choma)
Cynthia Namawa from Red Jetters Queens (Choma)
Anita Ngalashi from Don Bosco (Mazabuka)
Sophie Mwaba from Kalomo Queens (Kalomo)
Collister Moyo (from Namwala)

The unveiling ceremony, held in Choma on Monday, was attended by the Secretary-General of Choma Warriors and the Team President, Mr. Trevor Mwiinde. Mr. Mwiinde encouraged the players and staff to give their best and expressed his pleasure at the strong support from the people of Choma.

The Choma Warriors Academy Women’s football team is supported by a dedicated coaching and management staff, including:

Physical Trainer: Robinson Muntanga
Team Doctor 1: Butemwe Agatha

Team Doctor 2: Mvwimi Sinkoli
Team Doctor 3: Elvis Choolwe

Additionally, members of the Choma Warriors Supporters Club, led by General Secretary Mr. Janny Mujuda, were also in attendance at the unveiling ceremony.

Mr. Trevor Mwiinde, on behalf of the management, warmly welcomed the new players and charged them with the responsibility of leading the team to success in the upcoming domestic national league competitions. The players were presented with hampers as a symbol of their induction into the Choma Warriors family.

Choma Warriors is poised to compete for honors in the upcoming FAZ National League, with the season set to kick off on October 14th. The team and its supporters are eagerly anticipating an exciting season ahead, with high hopes for success in the league.
