Chisi Mbewe Announces Final Squad for Cosafa Cup

Zambia coach Chisi Mbewe has announced his final squad for the COSAFA Cup.

Albert Kangwanda, a two-time COSAFA Cup winner, will captain the team as Zambia aims for a third consecutive title.

Four players from the Zambian champions Red Arrows—Charles Kalumba, Brian Chilimina, Saddam Yusuf Phiri, and Ricky Banda—have been included.

Zambia will face Kenya in the opening match on Thursday, followed by a clash against Zimbabwe on Sunday in the latest edition of the ‘Battle of Zambezi’. Zambia and Zimbabwe have collectively won 13 titles.

The Group B final matches will be played on Tuesday, with Zambia set to play against Comoros.
