Clatous Chota Chama Set to Join Yanga SC from Simba SC in Lucrative Deal

Zambian international midfielder Clatous Chota Chama is reportedly on the verge of a high-profile transfer from Simba SC to their arch-rivals, Yanga SC. The deal is said to be worth US$150,000 (K3.9 million) in sign-on fees and includes a one-year contract with a salary of US$13,000 (K338,000) per month, along with an option to extend.

Simba SC spokesperson Ahmed Ally confirmed during an Instagram Live session that Chama’s contract with Simba has expired and that negotiations for a renewal have yet to begin. “Chama has finished his contract with Simba, and we are yet to receive an update on his status. We will know by Monday whether he will stay or leave the club,” Ally stated.

Yanga SC is eager to secure the services of the experienced Zambian midfielder, viewing him as a key addition to their squad. Chama’s potential move to Yanga SC has generated significant buzz among fans, as he has been a pivotal player for Simba SC.

The transfer saga has captured the attention of supporters from both clubs, who are eagerly anticipating the final decision. Chama’s move, if finalized, would mark a major shift in the dynamics between the two Dar es Salaam giants.
