Power Dynamos Face Uphill Battle in CAF Champions League Clash Amid Player Absences

Power Dynamos are facing a daunting challenge in their upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Champions League second-leg encounter against the formidable Simba SC in Dar es Salaam.

Their preparations have been marred by the absence of key players due to injury and suspension.

One significant setback is the absence of their reliable shot-stopper, Lawrence Mulenga.

He is set to miss this crucial match as he continues his recovery from a concussion sustained during Power Dynamos’ recent 2-2 draw at home against Zesco United.

Mulenga’s injury occurred after a collision with an opponent, which forced him to be stretchered off the field and subsequently hospitalized. While he has been discharged from the hospital and is now on the road to recovery, he won’t be able to participate in the upcoming clash.

The team is hopeful that he will return to training within the following week.
