David Kaunda Stadium in Chipata Receives $300,000 FIFA Facelift, Kicking Off Ambitious Football Development Initiative

Greetings from the picturesque city of Chipata, where we’ve been engaged in a football development initiative for the past few days.
In an exciting development, FIFA has ceremoniously unveiled the newly renovated David Kaunda Stadium, a project valued at $300,000.
This marks the inaugural step in a series of five projects supported by FIFA through its FIFA Forward 2.0 program.
It’s worth noting that the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) successfully advocated for FIFA’s financial backing to revamp not only the David Kaunda Stadium but also other stadiums, namely Kaole in Luapula, Independence in Northwestern, and Kasama.
