The National Olympic Committee of Zambia Board Member Dickson launched The ‘Sport For Life Project’
The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) Board Member Dickson Jere this morning launched The Sport For Life Project in Lusaka.
The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) Board Member Dickson Jere launched The Sport For Life Project in Lusaka.
The project, which aims to support young people across different parts of the world by empowering them with sports skills for human development has attracted 22 participants from across the country with at least 1 person representing each province.
Mr. Jere said that, with the high rate of unemployment in the country, sport can be a key avenue in which jobs can be created.
Meanwhile, Sport for Life Africa Coordinator Leo Moreau said he is delighted to bring the project to Zambia as it is focused on human development through sports.
He expressed gratitude to NOCZ for the support offered towards the successful launch of the project.

Zambia becomes the first anglophone country and the fifth country in the World after Timor-Leste, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, and Mozambique to launch the sport for life project which has attracted participants from all parts of the country
