Chipyoka Songa Secures Season-Long Loan Move to Hapoel Petah Tikva

Zambian youngster Chipyoka Songa has joined Israeli second-tier side Hapoel Petah Tikva.

Songa has signed a one-year loan deal from ZESCO United, a nine-time Zambia Super League champion, with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Last season, Songa was on loan at Nes Ziona, where he had a successful stint, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.

Songa expressed his excitement about the move to Petah Tikva, saying, “I’m excited to join a big club like Hapoel Petah Tikva.

I aim to improve and progress this season and to help the team meet its goal, to return to the Premier League.”

Despite Songa’s impressive performance, the Zambia U20 National Team midfielder could not prevent Sektzia Nes Ziona from being relegated from the Israeli National League.
