Patson Daka Welcomes New Coach at Leicester City
Steve Cooper has reached an agreement to become the new head coach of Leicester City.
Cooper, 44, has been out of work since being sacked by Nottingham Forest last December.
Former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter was also on the Foxes’ shortlist for the managerial position.
Enzo Maresca, who guided Leicester back to the Premier League, left the club to join Chelsea.
Before Maresca’s departure, Zambian striker Patson Daka was deemed surplus to requirements at King Power Stadium.
Leicester City will kick off their 2024/25 season at home against Tottenham Hotspur, followed by an away match at Villa Park against Aston Villa.
They will conclude their August fixtures with a home game against Fulham.
