FC MUZA Targets Kabwe Warriors in ABSA Cup Semis

FC MUZA coach Mathews Ndhlovu expressed confidence in his team’s performance ahead of their ABSA Cup 2024 semi-final clash against Kabwe Warriors. Speaking at a press conference held at Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe, Ndhlovu emphasized his side’s preparedness and determination to secure a positive outcome against their formidable opponents.

“We are grateful for reaching this stage of the competition. As F.C MUZA, we have made thorough preparations for the match. We are focused on maintaining our tactical and technical prowess, applying our skills effectively on the day of the match,” Ndhlovu stated.

He further assured supporters and fans of their commitment to maintain their current form and continue to fight hard for victory. “We are optimistic about achieving a favorable result,” he added.

Captain Kelvin Mwanza echoed Ndhlovu’s sentiments, acknowledging the tough challenge that Kabwe Warriors pose. “Kabwe Warriors is a formidable opponent, but we are familiar with their style of play. We are determined to secure a win and not disappoint our fans,” Mwanza affirmed.

Tickets for the match are available at ShopRite stores nationwide via CompuTicketing, starting from as low as K30. The winner of the ABSA Cup will receive K800,000, with K350,000 reserved for the runner-up. Additionally, the ABSA Life Player of the Tournament, Top Scorer, and Golden Glove winners will each receive K25,000.

The semi-final match between Kabwe Warriors and FC MUZA is scheduled for Saturday, 4th May, at Arthur Davies Stadium, kicking off at 12:30.
