MTN Super League Set to Resume in Eleven Days
The MTN Super League is set to recommence on the 17th of February after a hiatus to accommodate the Africa Cup of Nations, as revealed by the ZamFoot Crew.
The league, Zambia’s premier football division, is poised to resume in eleven days after pausing during the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The mid-season break, announced by Football House last month, was scheduled from January 15th, 2024, to February 12th, 2024.
When the league went into recess at week 20, ZESCO United led the standings with 39 points, closely followed by Red Arrows with one point behind in second place. Defending champions Power Dynamos and Green Eagles rounded out the top four.
At the bottom of the table were Trident FC, Prison Leopards, Nkana, and NAPSA Stars, all still seeking their first win of the season.
