The Final Round of Matches in The 2020-21 MTN Super League Season Will Kick-off Simultaneously At 3pm on Sunday
The final round of matches in the 2020-21 FAZ/ MTN Super League season will kick-off at 3pm on Sunday as the final outstanding issues in the campaign are resolved.
Zesco United are already crowned champions hence Zanaco are assured of second, which means they will compete in the CAF Champions League in the 2021/22 campaign.
Kitwe United, Lumwana Radiants and NAPSA Stars have already are consigned to be the First Division next season, but the fact of last year’s champions Nkana FC hangs in the balance.
As does who will finish third and fourth and play in the CAF Confederation Cup next season, which could be any of seven clubs.
Nkana (41 points) will travel to NAPSA Stars know that even a win will not be enough if Indeni (41) and Young Green Eagles (42) are victorious as well.
But they will hope at least one of those slips up, with Young Green Eagles at home to Confederation Cup-chasing Lusaka Dynamos, and Indeni at fourth-placed Kabwe Warriors. Both are very difficult assignments.
NAPSA Stars have lost their last seven games in a row, which suggests a Nkana victory, but with nothing to lose they may want to go out guns blazing.
Red Arrows (50) and Kabwe Warriors (48) are currently in pole position for the two remaining CAF club competition places, but there is a bevy of teams behind them waiting to pounce.
Arrows have a difficult task at Zanaco, though their hosts have nothing but pride to play for after securing second, and Warriors have that home game against Indeni.
Fifth-placed Green Eagles (47) travel to already-relegated Radiants, while Prison Leopards (47) host Green Buffaloes (46), who could yet sneak above Warriors. As could Buildcon (46), who take on champions Zesco.
Lusaka Dynamos (47) have that clash with Young Green Eagles, while in-form Nkwazi (47) take on out of contention Forest Rangers.
