Songa Scores Fourth Goal in Israeli League
Zambian prodigy Chipyoka Songa showcased his scoring prowess in Israel on Tuesday night, contributing to his team’s hard-fought draw in a thrilling six-goal match.
Songa netted the opening goal in Nes Tziona’s 3-3 deadlock against Ihud Bnei Shfaram during the twelfth round of the Israeli Leumit League.
The hosts, Ihud Bnei Shfaram, initially took the lead with goals from Karem Arshid, Mustafa Sheikh Yosef, and Muhammad Abu Ras within a nine-minute span.
Nigerian midfielder Joseph Oma Adah narrowed the gap in the 72nd minute, setting the stage for Amir Agayev to secure the crucial point just a minute before the final whistle.
With this performance, Songa has accumulated four goals in seven league games since making the switch to Israel earlier this year. The Zambian talent joined Tziona on a one-year loan deal from Zesco United in September.
