Zambia’s Female Boxer Catherine Phiri Returns To The Ring For The WBC Super Bantamweight

Zambia’s Female boxing Sensation Zambian boxer Catherine Phiri has entered a residential camp today in readiness for her return to the ring for the first time since 2019.

Phiri who was recently commissioned as an officer in the Zambia air force-ZAF, will fight Kudakwashe Chiwendre of Zimbabwe for the interim world boxing council super bantamweight title fight in Lusaka on the 29th of January.

The ten rounds fight will be Phiri’s biggest local contest following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

And also making his return to the ring is ALFRED MUWOWO who will fight ROBERT KACHIZA of Malawi in the fly weight non title fight that will last for eight rounds.
