Zambia’s Copper Queens Touch Down in Ghana Ahead of Olympic Qualifier
The Copper Queens have arrived in Accra, Ghana, ahead of Friday’s highly anticipated Olympic Games qualifier.
The World Cup participants are set to face the Black Queens of Ghana in the first leg of the third round of the Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier at Accra Sports Stadium, with kickoff at 7pm CAT.
Five days later, the Copper Queens will host Ghana at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in the second leg.
Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle will go head to head with Bruce Mwape on Friday.
The winner between Zambia and Ghana will face Tunisia and Morocco in the next round.
On the other side, the winner between Tanzania and South Africa will face the winner between Nigeria and Cameroon.
CAF has two slots at the Paris 2024 edition.
The Copper Queens were Africa’s sole representative at the Tokyo edition.
