Zambia’s Copper Queens Head to Ghana for Olympics Qualifier
The Zambia Women’s Football Team has departed for Ghana ahead of their third-round first-leg Paris Olympic Qualifier against the hosts. The team left this afternoon for Accra, where the game is scheduled for this Friday.
Speaking before their departure, Copper Queens Midfielder IREEN LUNGU expressed confidence in the team’s readiness to perform at their best and secure all three points against the Black Princesses of Ghana. LUNGU emphasized the importance of the first leg in their quest to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris.
Defender THABO MISELO highlighted the team’s diligent training and tactical preparations, aiming for victory for the Copper Queens. MISELO also mentioned that the team would leverage their experience from previous international games when they face Ghana on Friday.
