The Zambia under-18 and under-20 men’s handball national teams have stamped their dominance in the International Handball Federation’s (IHF) Zone 6 trophy, concluding their group stages with impeccable performances. Both teams have secured flawless records, setting the stage for an exhilarating semifinal clash.
The under-20 team showcased their prowess with resounding victories over Namibia and Lesotho, triumphing with scores of 61-7 and 61-10, respectively. Similarly, the under-18 team displayed exceptional skill, defeating Mozambique and Namibia with scores of 28-19 and 54-8, respectively.
These remarkable wins have paved the way for the semifinal matchups, scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Aquatic Sports Hall. The under-20 team will take on Mozambique, while the under-18 team will face South Africa in what promises to be thrilling encounters.
