Zambia U17 Team Heads to South Africa for Cosafa Tournament

The Zambia Under-17 national team has departed for South Africa to participate in the upcoming COSAFA U17 Championship.

Head coach Ian Bakala has assembled a formidable squad, featuring standout players such as James Nene Sibeene from Sporting Lusaka, Jonathan Kalimina of Kafue Celtic, and Robert Banda from Atletico Lusaka.

The team’s attacking lineup includes striker Abel Salim Nyirongo, alongside promising talents Nthasiliwe Mapulanga and Chilekwa.

Zambia is set to kick off their campaign with their opening match scheduled for Thursday.
