ZAMBIA U-15 LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK AFTER LATE DRAW WITH MOROCCO
Following a dramatic 3-3 draw against Morocco in their first encounter, Zambia’s U-15 boys national team is gearing up for a rematch with renewed determination. Assistant coach Owen Kaposa expressed confidence in the team’s readiness for the upcoming match, emphasizing their focus on rectifying previous mistakes and capitalizing on their strengths.
“The boys look very ready from the training sessions we’ve had,” Kaposa remarked optimistically. “They are very good boys, and I can say the future is bright. I hope the boys will apply what we’ve been working on, especially closing the flanks from left to right, which is a strong point for the Moroccans. I believe the boys will perform.”
Despite dominating much of the first match, Zambia was unable to secure the win, conceding two late goals in added time. Coach Kaposa acknowledged the team’s disappointment but stressed the importance of learning from the experience.
“The boys performed very well despite the result,” Kaposa reflected. “Unfortunately, we had to concede late goals in stoppage time. We learned a lesson, but the most important thing is to psych the players to concentrate from the start till the end.”
With valuable lessons learned and a renewed focus, Zambia’s U-15 team is eager to make amends and showcase their potential in the upcoming rematch against Morocco. The stage is set for an intense and highly anticipated showdown as both teams vie for victory. Kickoff is scheduled for midnight Zambian time, and fans can expect an exciting display of talent and determination from the young Zambian squad.
