The Chipolopolo Boys ‘Zambia’ kick start their World Cup Qualifier campaign with a pulsating 2-1 win over Mauritania thanks to goals from mercurial midfielder Enock Mwepu and the ever enterprising Prince Mumba.

Amadou Niass got the goal for Mauritania. Zambia will host the Carthage Eagles on Tuesday 7th September 2021 in Match day 2 of the Qualifiers at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
