Under-20 National Football Team Plans To Hold A Training Camp In Europe Ahead To 2023 African Cup of Nations (Read More)
The Zambia Under-20 national football team is planning to hold a training camp in Europe prior to the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The team’s goal is to qualify for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, set to take place in Indonesia in May. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is working to secure a camp in either Israel or Spain for the junior Chipolopolo squad.
The AFCON tournament is set to take place from February 19 to March 11, 2023, with host cities in Cairo, Ismailia, and Alexandria.
The opening match will be between Egypt and Mozambique on February 19.
The top four teams to make it to the semi-finals will qualify for the U-20 World Cup.
