Sunset hosts a Super League doubleheader
The MTN Super League action for week eight is in full swing this weekend.
On Friday, Green Buffaloes secured a 2-0 victory over Green Eagles, courtesy of goals from George Ngoma and Golden Mashata at Edwin Imboela.
Today, Lusaka will be the center of attention, hosting three matches, with a double header at Sunset Stadium. ZANACO, the Bankers, will be taking on Konkola Blades, while Red Arrows face the high-flying Nkwazi, who’ve had a strong start to the season.
Another exciting match in Lusaka will see Nkana, the 13-time record champions, competing against NAPSA Stars at Woodlands Stadium.
Mighty Mufulira Wanderers head to Nakambala Stadium to tackle the formidable FC MUZA, and Mutondo Stars welcome Chris Kaunda’s Prison Leopards, marking the former Zambia U-17 National Team coach’s debut in charge.
Albert Kachinga, the former Copper Queens coach, now leading Trident, will manage his team for the first time as they travel to the newly approved Dola Hill Stadium to face Forest Rangers.
