The Zambian Under-20 Men’s National Team rounded off their West African tour with a friendly match against Senegal in Thies.
The hosts secured a victory with an early goal from Samba Diallo, who plays for a Turkish club. Coach Chisi Mbewe made several changes to the starting lineup from the previous match, where Zambia lost to Nigeria 4-2.
The team will now travel to Egypt for the African Cup of Nations, where they will compete in Group C along with Tunisia, Benin, and Gambia.
The Zambian Football Association has shared some photos from the match, taken at the Stade Lat Dior. The tournament will take place from February 19th to March 11th.
