Bay Area’s latest addition to the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) has made headlines with the acquisition of Zambian international forward Racheal Kundananji from Spanish side Madrid CFF. The transfer, confirmed by the club today, marks a significant move for both Kundananji and Bay FC.
According to the club’s announcement on social media, Kundananji‘s rights were secured through a transfer deal, with the player signing a contract through the 2027 season, along with an option for the 2028 campaign. Pending the completion of administrative formalities including her P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC), Kundananji will soon join Bay FC, adding an international dimension to their roster.
