Prison Leopards Welcome Seven New Players to Their Roster
Zambia Super League team Prison Leopards has officially announced the addition of seven new players during the January transfer window.
Striker Isaac Ngoma, having showcased an impressive performance with Nkwazi, is making a return to Kabwe.
The Leopards have further strengthened their squad with the acquisitions of Nkana youngster Fallo Manongo and Cameroonian forward Maximilian Elimbi.
The club expressed its delight in revealing the signing of these seven players in a recent statement, emphasizing its commitment to fortify the team for the upcoming second round.
As part of this initiative, the Leopards have enlisted the services of three midfielders, two wingers, and two strikers.
Maximilian Elimbi, a Cameroonian-born striker, has joined on a six-month loan deal from ZESCO United Football Club. Meanwhile, Isaac Ngoma, a prominent figure, has returned to the Leopards on a two-year contract, marking his transition from Nkwazi Football Club.
The midfield has seen the inclusion of three players on short-term contracts: Charles Lubasi (from Jumulo), Mwaba Simpasa (from Riverplate), and 21-year-old Benson Adrone Banda (from Kabwe Warriors).
Completing the list of new signings are left winger Kenneth Phiri (from Lusaka Youth) and speedy winger Fallo Manongo, who joins on a six-month loan deal from Nkana Football Club.
