Power Dynamos striker Boyeli agrees to sign for South African club
Power Dynamos striker Andy Boyeli has agreed to a three-year deal with South African club Sekhukhune United. The Congolese striker is set to undergo medicals in South Africa ahead of the official signing.
Boyeli had an impressive 2022/23 season, scoring 18 goals. However, his performance dipped last season, managing only 8 goals in the league.
Sekhukhune United previously acquired Tresor Tshibwabwa from Red Arrows two seasons ago and also have former Power Dynamos midfielder Larry Bwalya in their squad.
Boyeli’s talent was evident in the CAF Champions League, where he scored 3 goals in 4 matches for Power Dynamos.
Meanwhile, midfielder Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale is also likely to leave Arthur Davies Stadium, with a potential move to Tanzanian giants Simba on the horizon.
