Portugal Held By DR Congo In Shock Group K Opener | FIFA World Cup 2026 Highlights

Portugal were held to a surprising draw by the Democratic Republic of the Congo in their opening Group K match.

João Neves gave the Portuguese side the lead with a well-taken header, but DR Congo responded just before half-time when Yoane Wissa struck in stoppage time to level the match.

The result leaves Portugal with work to do in their next group fixtures, while DR Congo will take confidence from a strong performance against one of the tournament favourites.
