Patson Daka Joins Elite Ranks as Third African Player to Score 20+ Goals for Leicester City

Chipolopolo forward Patson Daka has made history by becoming the third African player to achieve the milestone of scoring 20+ goals for Leicester City.

Daka joins the esteemed ranks of Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho, who has scored 61 goals for the club, and Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez, who has netted 48 goals. His contribution of 21 goals adds a vibrant touch to the Foxes’ scoring history.

The striker’s milestone came when he scored a brace for Leicester City in their commanding 5-0 victory against Stoke City FC on Saturday, February 3.

Initially sidelined by manager Enzo Maresca for the first 19 games of the season, Daka has proven instrumental since his full debut in December. With an impressive record of 6 goals and 3 assists in just 8 games played for Leicester City this season, Daka’s impact has been undeniable.
