Patrick ‘722’ Ndhlovu Re-elected as FAZ Copperbelt Province Chair For 2025-2029, Defeats Two Challengers

The Copperbelt Province Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has ushered in new office bearers for the period 2025-2029 with incumbent Patrick ‘722’ Ndhlovu retaining his seat after defeating two other candidates.
Vice chairperson Gabriel Kaunda and women representative Esther Bwalya retained their positions.
Others elected are Fred Mkandawire for committee member and Kennedy Phiri as youth representative.
For the chairmanship Ndhlovu polled 34 votes ahead of Yom Siwale and Chishimba Kambwili who got 20 and 17 respectively.
Kaunda received 43 votes against Geoffrey Ngulube’s 28 while Esther Bwalya amassed 53 votes with Eustrasia Chambeshi getting 18.
For committee member Fred Mkandawire received 36 votes beating Japhet Zulu and Jolly Simukonda who got 23 and 12 votes respectively.
In the race for the women representative Bwalya popularly known as EB got 53 ahead of Chambeshi’s 18.
The youth representative winner Kennedy Phiri got 41 votes ahead of Marvin Chisenga who got 30.
Copperbelt became the fifth province to elect new leaders for the next four years. The next province to hold their elective congress will be Luapula Province tomorrow.
FAZ will hold its national elective assembly on March 29 in Livingstone.
