Owen Mwamba, affectionately known as “The Stone Man,” has extended his contract with Mufulira Wanderers Football Club until June 30, 2027. A product of Young Mufulira Wanderers Football Club, Mwamba has shown his dedication to the team despite strong interest from other clubs. His loyalty and performance have made him a fan favorite.

Mwamba had a significant impact in the previous season, playing in 29 games, providing four assists, and scoring three goals, including the game-winning goal in a 2:1 home victory over Nkana Football Club.

Expressing his satisfaction, Mwamba said, “I am overjoyed to have my contract extended.
